About the Pastor

Meet Stuart Pederson, the pastor of the Burrton Community Church. He grew up on a farm in rural Nebraska and went on to study accounting at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. After working as a CPA in Minneapolis and western Nebraska for eight years, he decided to pursue his calling and entered seminary in Fresno, California. He graduated in 1990 and has been a pastor for over 30 years, leading churches in six states and being ordained by the Mennonite Brethren and Christian Missionary Alliance Churches.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Stuart is also a missionary with Mission Experience of Centennial, CO. He’s been working on building and running an orphanage, school, and vocational center in Haiti since 2010. He’s made over 40 trips to Haiti and is focused on constructing facilities, installing solar panels, and providing vocational training. But he also makes sure to have fun with the kids at the orphanage.

Stuart married his wife, Regina, in 1981, and they’ve been together for 43 years now. They have four grown and married children, and all of them are walking and serving the Lord Jesus Christ as they raise 15 children together. Life is full of joy and purpose for them.

The Burrton Community Church is committed to being a Christ-centered family. We achieve this by being present and actively involved in the lives of our community and families. Our goal is to make a positive impact and demonstrate the love of Christ to those around us.
